Jennifer successfully managed to incorporate her business skills and her love for entertainment by having grown Miss California Latina® into the largest state pageant competition for Latinas in the country.  In the nine years under her direction, Jennifer established the brand as one of empowerment, servant leadership and opportunity. The organization carries the unique distinction of hosting national corporate partnerships on an annual basis. In 2015, Jennifer added television to the list, by securing a television partnership deal with AztecaTV for the rights to air the state competition.

As an alum of the National Hispana Leadership Institute, Jennifer was nominated in 2013 for the national Millier Coors Lideres Award for her commitment and contributions to the community and was highlighted in Lideres Magazine. She has also been recognized by the city of Los Angeles with an award for her success in the community
